YAY! Few more weeks to go!

Magazine Time

All are present at our meeting today, except for Alisha. We have not heard from her, also have not received any of her Magazine work. This is okay, Jon is stepping up and doing her work, Thank you Jon ☺

Jon's girlfriend is also in art school, she is coming up with a design for our front cover for the Magazine. Can't wait to see a draft copy! Hopefully we get a hold of that as soon as possible.
Jon has also written an article about his experience staying in the UK. He is just sharing it with us all, sounds great! Can't wait to put it all into the Magazine...

  1. Hi team, great to see some progress with the group as a whole. Thanks for outlining exactly where you are at, it is beginning to look like you will have a completed product with a well co-ordinated effort in two weeks time. Take some time to reflect on this group process over the last few weeks and look at how you have got to this stage. Experiential learning or 'learning by doing'has plenty of literature on the cycle of learning in groups. The four stages are;
    Forming; the group meets for the first time.
    Storming; the initial organisation can cause conflict as the finer details are organised and the natural leaders take over.
    Norming; the group settles down to produce the work required of them
    Performing; the more time a group spends together the more encouragement to create and produce quality work (Tuckman,1965)
    You are at the 'norming' stage and need to keep up the frequent and consistent meetings over the next two weeks in order to achieve your goal.
    Helen
